Danna earned her masters’ degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Classical Antiquities from University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from Colorado School of Mines.

In 2019, after assisting a former employer with an accounting system upgrade, Danna realized that many non-profits need help with projects that extend beyond their time capacity or current resources. Soon after, Danna formed Altropy Consulting as a consulting service to address those needs. Blending the concepts of altruism and philanthropy, Altropy Consulting develops effective solutions that work for resource-conscious non-profit organizations.
